Fine watchmaking and high jewellery

BORFLEX brings its know-how to Watch making and High jewellery sectors. The elastomers meet with the requirements of these particular sectors :

  • high accuracy,
  • ease of use,
  • dimensional stability,
  • high mechanical properties,
  • colours compliance,
  • hypoallergenic properties,
  • etc.

Applications :

  • Elastomers compounds are used to produce high precision moulds for Lost-wax casting. This is a  process by which a duplicate metal sculpture (often silver, gold, brass or bronze) is cast from an original sculpture.
  • Specific elastomers for: jewelry protecting and polishing…
  • Rubber o rings for jewelry making with a high set resistance (ISO 22810 / NIHS 92-20 compliant)
